– International
Exhibition Group (IEG) and the Russian
Union of Industrialists & Entrepreneurs (RSPP)
today jointly announced the formation of a new
event management organisation in Russia which
will produce leading edge trade fairs serving
the business to business community in the Russian
Federation. The new company, "International Expo
RUIE", will be based in Moscow, with worldwide
offices in Stamford, CT (USA), Kiev, Ukraine &
London (UK). Three trade fairs, "Health & Fitness
Club Management", "Refrigeration & DeepFreeze"
and "Development of Small & Medium-Sized Businesses"
will take place in Moscow December 2003. Ten shows
will be organised in 2004, including "InterNetSecurity"
in Saint Petersburg in March in addition to new
industrial fairs such as "Unconventional & Renewable
Energy Sources", "Collection, Recycling & Disposal
of Wastes" & "Commercial Vehicle & Bus" taking
place in Moscow in the fall.
The joining of the industry's two leading organisers
has created a powerful marketing force that has
the ability to deliver important and relevant
events for buyers and sellers throughout the entire
Russian Federation & beyond. U.S. based IEG has
a documented history as Comtek International of
creating, developing and executing some of the
largest and most successful "western" style trade
fairs throughout Russia, Eastern Europe, and the
United States including: Comtek, World Food, CEM,
TRBE, Internetcom, CERF, and MODA. RSPP, founded
