International Exhibition Group Announces 40 Event Schedule in Eastern Europe & the Russian Federation

Local Partners Include Key Business Associations & Government Officials

(Stamford, CT & Moscow, Russian Federation – 04 September 2002) – International Exhibition Group (IEG) today announced the launch of 40 B2B conferences and exhibitions throughout Russia, Romania, and the Ukraine. In partnership with other prominent organizations within the launch countries, IEG has quickly established a powerful network of marketing and educational opportunities for global enterprises and local buyers.

The initial rollout of events will take place in the spring of 2003 with four financial conferences in Moscow. With the extensive amount of investment capital flowing into Russia especially the metropolitan Moscow area, there is a great need to address all areas of market investment,” stated Frank P. Fazio, President of IEG. Next year’s conferences will cover banking development and reform, real estate management and acquisition, and franchising opportunities. With the strong rise of commercial lending and investment in Moscow in particular, there is an immediate need for dialogue and supplier solutions. The IEG management team have extensive experience in developing and managing some of the largest trade fairs in all of Eastern Europe. Pollak was a founding Principal in the world-renowned Comtek organization and Fazio was VP of Sales and Business Development. Comtek was one of the first “western” trade show organizers to move into the newly emerging Russian Federation in 1990 and the company quickly became one of the largest event organizers in all of Europe.
