TWO
NEW SPECIALIZED TRADE FAIRS TO OPEN IN MOSCOW
Events
will be the first of their kind to address the growing
Health & Fitness and Refrigeration/Deep Freeze Industries
(Stamford,
CT - 06 December, 2002) International
Exhibition Group (IEG) www.iegexpo.com
today announced the launch of two new trade fairs:
Health & Fitness Club Management, and Refrigeration
and DeepFreeze. Both events are focused on bringing
together Russian buyers with international industry
suppliers doing business or planning on doing business
in the Russian Federation. 5,000 buyers are expected
at each event.
Health
& Fitness will take place on 2-5 December 2003
at the Triumph Pavilion, RosstroyExpo in Moscow.
This groundbreaking new event is the first of its
kind to focus exclusively on bringing together health
club owners and fitness facility managers with worldwide
providers of exercise equipment, health club services
and fitness apparel. This event was created to satisfy
the demand of the surging fitness industry in Russia
for the latest in equipment to modernize and expand
existing facilities. According to IEG President
Frank Fazio, "Worldwide interest in health and fitness
has finally caught on in Russia, and suppliers of
fitness equipment, services, and apparel are finding
in Russia one of the most lucrative emerging markets
in the world today."
Refrigeration
and DeepFreeze will be held on 9-12 December
2003 also at the RosstroyExpo. This is the first
trade show in Russia dedicated to filling the critical
shortage of cooling systems, deep freezing systems,
transport vehicles and devices, systems and services
for the food, agriculture, and other temperature
dependent industries. The shortage of temperature
controlling equipment is so severe that a recent
report from the U.S. Department of State and the
U.S. Foreign and Commercial Service estimated that
between 25%-50% of Russia's agricultural output
spoils before reaching the market. Lenny Pollak,
Chairman of International Exhibition Group comments,
"Russia's ambition to achieve agricultural self-sufficiency,
not to mention its wider economic goals, require
enormous purchases in temperature controlling equipment
and technology infrastructure. This urgent need
is an enormous market opportunity for industry suppliers
worldwide."
The
RosstroyExpo center is a new state of the art facility
located in central Moscow. For more information
